The translucency and color of amber depend on the amount of air bubbles contained within a piece of amber and their distribution. Some believe the color is related to the type of tree source.

Please take the bracelets on and off with gentle care, and clean with lukewarm water and a soft cloth. Avoid detergents and cleansers when possible as these substances over time will leave a residue on the amber that inhibits it's ability to release its healing properties into the skin.
